All of us born and raised Cantabrians, the team at Hamburger Transport take great pride in giving back to our community through sponsorship and volunteer work. As well as sponsoring the odd cricket team, owner Rhys Hamburger is highly involved with Moore Park Speedway in West Melton, coaching young riders, sponsoring senior riders, and managing the Canterbury Comets in the Interprovincial Solo Teams Series.

After the Christchurch Earthquakes, we were humbled to be called upon by some of the city’s volunteer networks, assisting with the distribution of pallets of water and jerry cans to the hard hit eastern suburbs in the weeks after the disaster.

For the last two years we have been privileged to volunteer our trucks in the Christchurch Santa Parade, providing a float for the kids from the Gaelic School of Irish Dance. A highlight on the social calendar and a great day out for all lucky enough to be involved, we look forward to this year’s parade and all those to come.
